White Tiger Martial Arts UK

Breathing new life into martial arts. 1st session is FREE

Grading, Seminar, Tournament dates. Your Support is Needed.

All Seminars and Gradings are usually on Sundays.  But more recently we have looked at using the Saturday morning session when grading time arrives.  For those who feel ready!!!!  Rather than taking up all weekend it's the usual training location and time.  Just stay focussed and do what you have trained to do.

Working towards Grading

All Martial Arts clubs need their students to support the club firstly by trying to train at least twice a week this also supports your training in the recommended way, as twice weekly is the minimum requirement for regular grading.

This way you gain a good level of training and the club is able to survive.

Martial arts should last a lifetime, benefits may not always be evident in the early days of your training.

When you choose not to train, you are loosing the determination to get better at what you do.  That is why only 1% make it to Blackbelt.

We want you to have Guts and determination.  The guts to say "no" to the temptation of those easy words of "I can't be bothered".  If your acting like a "Kevin and Perry" at home or in the dojo your training will be going down and suffering.  If you want to earn the chance to grade to Black Belt, start training like you're determined to get there.

Your attitude in the dojo is measured by your instructor, if you show a lack of respect your gradings will be a far away dream, even if your the best, most talented student in the world.  So the next time you "Spit the Dummy out" and sulk.  Is this what you would accept as OK if you're the instructor?

You only get one chance in this life, so give it your best shot!!  Don't turn into a wimp, be strong, be different to your friends who can't be bothered.  Be a strong confident individual, a leader not a continual follower of those who give up.

Your success is ours also, together we can make a difference.  BE STRONG, BE A WHITE TIGER.

I wish you all the best in your training during your time spent with us, I hope we will be training together for a long time.

Regards

Shihan Stuart

Please note a good standard can become a great standard by training more regularly.  Missing training will not get you a black belt.  Putting a mad spurt in just before grading after missing many classes during the period between gradings will unlikely give you the required standard.  As you progress up the grading ladder the standard should improve pro rata.  The grading examiner knows what standard is needed at each level.

After Green Belt most students should be thinking of training twice a week to keep up the standard and progress further, if this cannot be done its a long long haul to blackbelt up a slippery slope of time.

Grading and Seminar Dates Can be Found at the bottom of this page. PLEASE Copy and paste them into a word document.  Print of the copy to keep for yourself, we recommend you add the dated to a calender or put a reminder in your mobile phone.  Thank you.

A final good luck to you all, please train and practice more to ensure your mistakes happen less frequently.  Improve your chances of grading by training as often and as regular as you can.  The martial arts are a way of life and can stay with you forever.  Its worth the journey those who make it to Blackbelt are rare as only 1% of the 100% he begin a martial art have the guts and determination to stick at it and give the time and effort needed to reach that coveted Shodan Blackbelt & Blackbelt framed A3 certificate.

To all White Tiger members and all other martial artists who may pass by.

I Hope you have a good year with White Tiger Martial Arts or your chosen martial art; that you have progressed well and enjoyed the benefits martial arts bring you.

Yours in the Martial Arts Shihan Stuart 5th Dan BNMA.
